Adams Consulting Group were appointed by Hermes REIM to carry out the Pre-acquisition Technical Due Diligence on their forward purchase of South Bank Tower.
Following agreement of the forward purchase from CIT as Developer (the Vendor) and Hermes REIM (the Purchaser), ACG were appointed as Buyer’s Representative by Hermes to monitor the £200m Redevelopment of South Bank Tower.
The project commenced on site in January 2013 with MACE appointed as the Main Contractor, and Internationally renowned Architects Kohn Petersen Fox (KPF) as Designer. The project involves the complete redevelopment of the former King’s Reach Tower to provide a high quality mixed use scheme. This includes 194 Residential Apartments, 51,000sq ft. of commercial retail space at Ground Level together with circa 229,000sq ft. of modern Office Space.
The works include formation of an additional 11 floors to the existing Tower. The Residential Apartments will be sold with Hermes and their JV partner, the Canadian pension Plan Investment Board, retaining the commercial and retail areas.
